Mile 1318 .the bear that just ran from me ,30 yards up the trail. was twice as large as the one I saw in the shenandoah . This bear was moving very fast. I'm glad he was running away because there is no out running that.
Glad it ran AWAY! Just your luck it was bigger and pointed in the right direction....
